America’s Essential Hospitals has interest groups on a variety of topics important to essential hospitals. Any employee of a member hospital is free to join these groups for regular calls, webinars, and in-person meetings at events, such as VITAL.
Artificial Intelligence Interest Group
This interest group will convene essential hospitals currently leveraging AI to collectively explore and advance the responsible use of AI in delivering superior care for all; reducing clinician burden; and closing health outcome gaps.
Medicaid Financing Interest Group
The Medicaid Financing Interest Group is a resource for essential hospital members to share insights and stay informed on the latest in directed payments, provider taxes, and more. Members will meet monthly to discuss emerging Medicaid payment and financing policy and engage in peer-to-peer learning. Stay abreast of association resources and inform policy decisions through participation in the group.
Facilities, Preparedness, and Efficiency Interest Group
The Facilities, Preparedness, and Efficiency Interest Group (FPE IG) will give members the opportunity to share priorities, concerns, and experiences related to strengthening hospital operations and infrastructure.
Community-Integrated Health Care INTEREST GROUP
Essential Hospitals Institute’s Community-Integrated Health Care Interest Group (CIHC IG) offers association members a monthly opportunity to network with peers and exchange strategies and practices for improving the health and lives of their patients and communities.
340B Drug Pricing Program Interest Group
The 340B Interest Group is a platform for essential hospital leaders to learn and share knowledge about the 340B Drug Pricing Program. The group has calls every other month that most useful for government relations, pharmacy, and finance professionals at essential hospitals.
Government Relations Interest Group
America’s Essential Hospitals hosts bi-weekly Government Relations conference calls for essential hospital leaders to stay abreast of the latest news from Washington, D.C. Participants can join their fellow colleagues for an interactive dialogue on the most important and pressing health care issues facing safety net hospitals and health systems. All calls take place at 2 pm ET.
