Workforce Interest Group

Essential Hospitals Institute is excited to announce the start of a new, three-part Workforce Interest Group. In a series of virtual meetings, association members will network with peers and exchange strategies and best practices for improving workforce policies.

On the third Wednesday of April, July, and November, this group will convene through Zoom to discuss topics including community recruitment pipelines, artificial intelligence integration in hiring, the impact of new legislation on workforce retention and recruitment, and more. These meetings allow members to share innovative resources and identify barriers and facilitators to their work.

Those working to build a stable and resilient workforce will benefit from this series by:

• Gaining insights from experts on workforce development
• Engaging in peer-to-peer discussions and collaboration
• Building your network of association leaders across the country
• Receiving priority access to the in-person Workforce Convening in September 2026 in Washington, D.C. Read about our last Workforce Convening

• This opportunity is open to all member hospitals. 
• The interest group is open to any hospital member at all levels interested in learning and improving workforce efforts.
