The Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC) has opened nominations for new commissioners.
Applicants should have expertise in health policy and seek to influence future Medicare policy.
Letters of nomination and resumes are due Feb. 7, and appointments will be effective May 2025.
MedPAC is a nonpartisan legislative branch agency that provides policy and data analysis and makes recommendations to Congress on a wide array of issues affecting Medicare, including Medicare Advantage.
The commission typically meets seven times a year, where 17 commissioners provide guidance to MedPAC staff on Medicare payment, coverage, and access to care, among other topics.
