Essential Hospitals Institute’s Community-Integrated Health Care Interest Group (CIHC IG) offers association members a monthly opportunity to network with peers via Zoom and exchange strategies and practices for improving the health and lives of their patients and communities.
Safety Net Financing and Policy: Beyond the Basics – Session 3
If you are new to safety net financing or need a refresher, join America’s Essential Hospitals’ Essential Learning Series, “Safety Net Financing and Policy: Beyond the Basics.” This annual learning series, designed with junior staff in mind, explores the fundamentals of various funding sources that sustain hospitals serving a safety net role. This can help inform your organization’s efforts to leverage available funding and strengthen your advocacy efforts.
Facilities, Preparedness, and Efficiency Interest Group Meeting
The Facilities, Preparedness, and Efficiency Interest Group (FPE IG) will give members the opportunity to share priorities, concerns, and experiences related to strengthening hospital operations and infrastructure. Key focus areas include funding opportunities, educating leadership, effective governance, demonstrating return on investment, sharing successful case studies, and promoting community partnerships to support ongoing efforts. In monthly virtual meetings, the group will explore a range of topics that aim to raise awareness, foster connections, and support essential hospitals in enhancing their efficiency, preparedness, and long-term planning.
Government Relations Interest Group Call
America’s Essential Hospitals hosts bi-weekly Government Relations conference calls for essential hospital leaders to stay abreast of the latest news from Washington, D.C. Participants can join their fellow colleagues for an interactive dialogue on the most important and pressing health care issues facing safety net hospitals and health systems.
Medicaid Financing Interest Group Meeting
The Medicaid Financing Interest Group is a resource for essential hospital members to share insights and stay informed on the latest in directed payments, provider taxes, and more. Members will meet monthly to discuss emerging Medicaid payment and financing policy and engage in peer-to-peer learning. Stay abreast of association resources and inform policy decisions through participation in the group.
340B Interest Group Meeting
The 340B Interest Group is a platform for essential hospital leaders to learn and share knowledge about the 340 Drug Pricing Program. The Interest Group meets via Zoom every other month on Tuesday from 2–3 pm ET to discuss issues regarding the 340B Program. The interest group calls are most useful for government relations, pharmacy and finance professionals at essential hospitals.
Artificial Intelligence Interest Group Meeting
This interest group will convene essential hospitals currently leveraging AI to collectively explore and advance the responsible use of AI in delivering superior care for all; reducing clinician burden; and closing health outcome gaps.
