America’s Essential Hospitals has commented on the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) request for information on agency action to accelerate the adoption and use of artificial intelligence (AI) in clinical care.
Specifically, HHS sought public feedback on how HHS can use its regulatory, reimbursement, and research and development levers to enable AI adoption. The association developed comments based on feedback from the AI Interest Group about how HHS can maximize these levers to facilitate essential hospitals’ innovation efforts.
