RWJF’s Evidence for Action: Innovative Research to Advance Racial Equity
Evidence for Action (E4A) prioritizes research to evaluate specific interventions (e.g., policies, programs, practices) that have the potential to counteract the harms of structural and systemic racism and improve health, well-being, and equity outcomes.
Funding Amount:
Varied for up to 36 months based on actual needs of the proposed project.

NIMHD Improving Health Outcomes in Populations that Experience Health Care Disparities
The National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities is funding an initiative to support research that will (1) gain an understanding of how the patient-clinician relationship (PCR) in the primary care and chronic disease care settings affects clinical and non-clinical health outcomes (2) identify best practices/ interventions that build and improve the PCR—leading to better health outcomes and increased health equity in populations that experience health disparities.
Funding Amount:
Varied for up to five years based on actual needs of the proposed project.

Bristol Myers Squibb – Increasing Health Equity
Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) is committed to increasing health equity for better patient outcomes through providing funding to support effective solutions with the goal of removing barriers and improving access to quality care for medically underserved and diverse patient populations. BMS accepts applications throughout the year to support initiatives focused on therapeutic areas of interest in one or more of the categories: Disease awareness & education, access to quality care, patient support services, diversity in clinical trials, diversity in healthcare & research workforce, and health equity policy & advocacy support.
