Tyler DeRubio 

DeRubio leads Medicaid finance policy analysis and behavioral health initiatives at Sellers Dorsey. His experience spans Medicaid financing, health care payment policy, and public-sector budgeting, with a particular focus on developing innovative financing strategies that expand access to care and strengthen health care delivery systems.  

Before joining Sellers Dorsey, DeRubio was a researcher with PolicyLab at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where he focused on Medicaid financing and payment reform and examined the impact of health care financing policies on children and families. Previously, DeRubio served as a senior budget analyst at the New York City Office of Management and Budget, where he helped develop the budget for the city’s public hospital system and supported the design of supplemental Medicaid payment strategies.
