Suzanne Bierman 

Prior to joining Sellers Dorsey, Bierman served as the Medicaid director for Nevada, including during the COVID-19 public health emergency. While at Nevada Medicaid, she assisted with the development and implementation of program enhancements to improve health care access and affordability. This work included Nevada’s public option and eligibility expansions to improve maternal and child health outcomes. Bierman also developed new managed care requirements to support health-related social needs in the state’s re-procurement of its managed care contracts. Additionally, Bierman has worked in health policy research, for a state hospital association, and at an academic medical center.
