Michael Hatfield, MPA 

Hatfield serves as healthcare government relations director at the University of Kentucky, representing the university and its health care enterprise at the state and federal levels. His work focuses on health policy and government relations, with particular emphasis on Medicaid policy, state directed payments, the 340B Drug Pricing Program, and other issues affecting academic health systems and health care delivery. 

In his role, he works with Congress and executive branch officials on health policies that support the University of Kentucky’s mission to advance the health of Kentucky.
