Joan Boyce

Boyce collaborates with legislative offices, along with government and nonprofit agencies, to advance Jefferson Health’s mission to improve lives by focusing on health-related social needs. She serves as the Jefferson Einstein lead for the Healthcare Anchor Network (HAN), leveraging the economic power of Jefferson to strengthen local communities and create optimal health for all. Boyce also leads Jefferson Einstein’s participation in a southeastern Pennsylvania-based initiative called Collaborative Opportunities to Advance Community Health (COACH). Since September 2015, COACH participants have pursued a collaborative approach to addressing unmet needs emerging from local health system community health needs assessments.   

Before beginning her role at Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia Hospital in 2001, Boyce was the director of programming and community affairs at WPHL-TV, in Philadelphia. She holds a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University.
