The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) updated its public notice on the 340B Rebate Model Pilot Program on Nov. 14, authorizing Novartis to implement a rebate model starting April 1, 2026. Novartis was the only eligible drug manufacturer that was not included in the earlier slate of approvals.
The notice additionally clarifies that Novartis will use the same vendor, the Beacon Platform, as the eight other manufacturers. As of Nov. 17, Novartis has not offered a detailed notice describing their rebate model. All other notices describing covered entities’ obligations and required claims information are available on Beacon’s website.
Beacon has also published a separate FAQ on their website for covered entities with additional details on rebate model implementation.
