FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

America’s Essential Hospitals joined with seven other hospital and hospital-affiliated associations in a letter to a Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) contractor looking to clear up confusion surrounding the Medicare outpatient drug acquisition cost survey. Specifically, the letter asks the CMS contractor to correct recent statements that wrongly suggest hospitals are required to complete the Outpatient Prospective Payment System Drug Acquisition Cost Survey.
