America’s Essential Hospitals is closely monitoring the executive orders signed by President Trump since he took office on Jan. 20, as well as related lawsuits challenging the executive orders and other agency actions. The association will continue to provide biweekly lawsuit updates and real-time summaries of executive orders and related agency actions.
Since the association’s last update, on Oct. 28, a California federal district court granted a preliminary injunction pausing the layoffs of HHS workers and other federal agency employees during the federal government shutdown. The pause applies only to employees in the programs/projects of individuals represented by plaintiff unions.
Members can access the association’s latest review of the lawsuits against the Trump administration’s actions and a full summary of executive orders from Jan. 20 through Aug. 19.
