The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) has announced the recertification period for covered entities participating in the 340B Drug Pricing Program will run from Aug. 11 through Sept. 8.
Hospitals must complete recertification through HRSA’s Office of Pharmacy Affairs Information System (OPAIS). Authorizing officials and primary contacts must create their own OPAIS accounts before recertifying. Covered entities that fail to recertify before Sept. 8 will be removed from the 340B program.
A user guide, additional webinars, and other education resources are available on the Office of Pharmacy Affairs website, and HRSA will host a recertification webinar on Aug. 6, at 1 pm ET.
