Reaching Immigrant Patients in Uncertain Times

Date: Tuesday, November 27, 2018

Time: 2:00 PM ET

Essential hospitals commit to caring for all people regardless of citizenship status. This puts them at the center of the national debate on immigration policies, such as the proposed public charge rule, that threaten access to care for millions of legal residents. Participants heard how two essential hospitals – Harris Health, in Houston, and NYC Health + Hospitals, in New York — work with their communities to ease immigrants’ fears and ensure they get the care they need.
