Research links malnutrition with health complications, including impaired wound healing; prolonged length of stay; and increased postoperative infection rates, mortality, and hospital costs. Early nutrition interventions within 24 to 48 hours of hospital admission have improved patient outcomes and reduced hospital costs.

Join us to hear how association member NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, in New York, took a targeted approach to identify and treat patients at risk for malnutrition to improve care, reduce costs, and increase reimbursement.
