Recent executive orders have raised concerns about the impact of immigration policies on health care providers and their patients. Participants heard from Mayra Joachin of the National Immigration Law Center about a new health care toolkit designed to help providers understand their rights and their patients’ rights. Participants gained resources to teach essential hospital staff and patients how to respond to immigration enforcement activities in the context of health care delivery.
