Participants learned how association member Parkland Health & Hospital System, in Dallas, and the Parkland Center for Clinical Innovation created an innovative strategy to detect Dallas County residents at risk for COVID-19. Parkland developed a predictive analytics tool to identify people living in “high proximity” to others, screens those people for medical and social needs, and offers support. To date, Parkland has screened more than 250,000 unique individuals in 1.5 million encounters.
Attendees heard Parkland’s key staff share how their clinic processes, population health work, and community health workers help support the community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
