NQF Announces Quality Policy Fellowship

Applications now are open for the National Quality Forum (NQF) Quality Policy Fellowship. This one-year, nonresidential fellowship, open to NQF members, provides two rising quality leaders the opportunity to work directly with NQF leadership to gain exposure to the federal quality improvement and policy realms.

Selected fellows will have the opportunity to observe at least one NQF standing committee or action team, produce one to two publications, and engage in a mentored research/advocacy project that advances NQF and quality policy. Fellows also will receive a $5,000 competitive stipend and two expense-paid trips of up to three days each to Washington, D.C., to participate in NQF activities and meet with NQF leadership.

NQF in 2020 will give preference to at least one candidate with a background in social determinants of health or health equity.

Applications are due to Lois Frankel, director of member engagement at NQF, at lfrankel@qualityforum.org by Oct. 15, at 5 pm ET. Fellowships will begin in January 2020.
