A new no-cost continuing education activity offered by Medscape highlights unusual antibiotic resistance in health care settings.
The training, highlighted in CDC’s Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report, gives clinicians the opportunity to earn Medscape continuing education credit. It is geared toward infectious disease practitioners, critical care practitioners, and other clinicians who treat patients with multidrug-resistant organism infections.
Based on recent CDC studies, the training reviews approaches to containing carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae, pathogens nonsusceptible to extended-spectrum cephalosporins, and multidrug-resistant pathogens.
To view the video series, participants must sign up for a free Medscape account.
