The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services recently released a new episode of the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey podcast.
The podcast provides updates to survey vendors, self-administering hospitals, and client hospitals participating in the national patient experience survey.
The latest episode, released in April, explains the basic requirements for successfully improving hospital response rates. Listeners also can access the inaugural episode, released in fall 2017, which guides HCAHPS participants through the transition to new “Communication About Pain” survey items.
