The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will award up to $15.75 million in funding aimed at primary and secondary prevention of opioid overdoses.
The grant is intended for investigator-initiated research to expand and advance understanding about opioid overdose prevention. Awardees will develop and pilot, or rigorously evaluate, novel primary or secondary prevention interventions.
Applications are due May 15 by 5 pm ET. Each grantee will receive $350,000 to $750,000.
