The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), in collaboration with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, has announced a technical assistance opportunity for hospitals working on quality improvement projects for children in Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program.
The agencies will offer applicants in four states one year of customized support and peer learning in these categories:
- using the Child Core Set of quality measures with providers, consumers, and other stakeholders
- transforming service delivery to promote quality of health care
- improving service systems for children with serious emotional disorders
- applying health information technologies
- building partnerships
This opportunity is for states that did not participate in the Quality Demonstration Grant Program.
Interested applicants must submit an application to CHIPRADemoEval@ahrq.hhs.gov by Feb. 25. Decisions will be announced before April. Additional information about the program can be found on the AHRQ website.
