340B Recertification Period Closes Sept. 7

The annual 340B Drug Pricing Program recertification period for hospitals closes Sept. 7.

Hospitals must complete recertification of their compliance with all requirements of the 340B program. Failure to recertify will result in removal from the program.

The Office of Pharmacy Affairs (OPA), part of the Health Resources and Services Administration, sent an email with the information necessary to recertify to authorizing officials from all participating hospitals before the opening of the recertification period.

In July, HRSA held a webinar on the hospital 340B recertification process. Please contact with any questions about the webinar.

Contact Director of Policy Erin O’Malley at or 202.585.0127 with questions.
