An upcoming webinar hosted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America will examine conflict management in times of competing resources and priorities, such as during disease outbreaks.
The webinar, from 3 – 4:30 pm ET on May 23, will feature Stephen Weber, MD, chief medical officer and vice president for clinical effectiveness at University of Chicago School of Medicine, an association member. The webinar will focus on:
- managing resources;
- setting priorities during infectious disease outbreaks;
- identifying stakeholders to engage in epidemic preparedness;
- anticipating needs during a crisis; and
- decision making in times of limited resources.
