The Health Resources and Services Administration’s Office of Pharmacy Affairs (OPA) will host a webinar to prepare 340B Drug Pricing Program covered entities for the transition to the new OPA Information System (OPAIS).
OPAIS will include both a new registration system and secure pricing system. The webinar will focus on the registration component, which will be released in mid-September. The new system aims to modernize the 340B program database while enhancing functionality and security for covered entities.
The webinar for covered entities will be held Sept. 13 from 1–2pm ET.
OPA previously announced that the 340B hospital recertification process will be delayed to allow for implementation of OPAIS and that the current 340B database would be unavailable through mid-September.
