A new Office of Climate Change and Health Equity (OCCHE) webinar series will share government resources for health care stakeholders to reduce emissions and build resilience.
The Accelerating Healthcare Sector Action on Climate Change and Health Equity series highlights resources available through the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), Federal Emergency Management Agency, and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) through five webinars:

May 4: Leveraging the IRA and Taking Action on Building Efficiency.

May 18: Resilience at the Clinical, Facility, and Community Level.

June 8: IRA Decarbonization Opportunities from the EPA.

June 15: Protecting Patients from Climate-Sensitive Hazards through Clinical Care Coordination.

June 22: Tax Incentives for Climate Action.
OCCHE also highlighted a new Climate Change Adaptation Resource Center from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, as well as previously released resources from the Agency for Healthcare Reseach and Quality, including:
- Health services research grant opportunities focused on the intersection of climate change and health care.
- A data brief on emergency department visits and heat exposure.
- A primer for reducing health care emissions.
