OCCHE to Help Safety Net Providers Use IRA Climate Resources

The Department of Health and Human Services Office of Climate Change and Health Equity (OCCHE) on Oct. 20 announced a new program to support health care providers and safety net organizations take advantage of resources provided in the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).

Launching in early 2024, the program will help organizations use tax credits, grants, and other support structures in the IRA to invest in clean energy, building efficiency, infrastructure resilience, and other projects. OCCHE will work with the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy to host national webinars and breakout sessions tailored to different types of providers to help organizations access these resources.

More information will be available during an information session on Nov. 30, at noon ET.
