National Day of Action on New Exchange Insurance Options

Get Covered America, a national campaign that aims to raise awareness about health insurance options made possible by the Affordable Care Act (ACA), is organizing a national Day of Action. On Sept. 7, grassroots events in 10 states (Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Texas) will provide information about the ACA and how to enroll in health plans through the exchanges starting on Oct 1. The day also will include a training webinar on how to partner with navigators who will assist people shopping for and enrolling in health insurance plans sold through the exchanges.
