The Medicaid and CHIP Payment and Access Commission (MACPAC) recently released three new resources to the public. These resources include the following:
- a review of the latest research examining how and why Medicaid beneficiaries seek care in the emergency department
- a scan of how individual states set payment rates and supplemental payments to hospitals
- a review of how Arkansas, Minnesota, Oregon, and Pennsylvania approach Medicaid payment and delivery system reform.
MACPAC routinely publishes data and analyses, as well as its semiannual Report to the Congress on Medicaid and CHIP, to promote a better understanding of Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).
