The U.S. Government Accountability Office announced that letters of nomination and resumes are currently being accepted for six seats on the Medicaid and CHIP Payment and Access Commission (MACPAC). The three-year appointments will be effective Jan. 1, 2015. MACPAC was established through the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) Reauthorization Act of 2009 to review access and payment policies and advise Congress on Medicaid and CHIP. Letters of nomination and resumes will be accepted through Sept. 5.
