The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will host a virtual listening session Aug. 24 to gather input from partners on hospital preparedness before, during, and after emergencies.
The event is part of a series of HHS-hosted listening sessions to understand ongoing efforts from health care stakeholders and develop recommendations on hospital readiness.
The session will be co-hosted by the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, and the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology.
