The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) released an issue brief Nov. 13 that included information about enrollment in national and state-based marketplaces (exchanges) from Oct. 1 through Nov. 2. According to the brief, 846,184 people completed applications through the marketplaces and 106,185 people selected marketplace plans. The brief also reports that 396,261 people were determined to be eligible through Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Plan (CHIP).
