New email inboxes set up by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will take questions about the updated guidance for hospital COVID-19 data reporting requirements as part of Medicare conditions of participation.
The HHS data team set up an inbox to answer questions on data collection efforts at Protect-ServiceDesk@hhs.gov. For specific enforcement questions, contact CMS at QSOG_Hospital@cms.hhs.gov
The new requirements were outlined in a recent webinar hosted by the HHS Office of Intergovernmental and External Affairs. The Oct. 29 webinar used the same webinar slide deck as presented in previous webinars on the same topic.
