Effective Jan. 1, 2021, hospitals will be required to publish standard charges, including negotiated rates, for all services in a machine-readable format and display prices of shoppable services in a consumer-friendly format.
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will host a webcast Dec. 8 from 2–3pm ET for hospitals to learn about available resources to prepare for compliance. There will be a Q&A session after the presentation.
