The previous deadline was Nov. 30, 2013. Eligible hospitals should email the following information to, with “EH 2013 EXTENSION” in the subject link:

  • CMS certification number (CCN)
  • hospital name
  • contact person name
  • contact person email
  • contact person phone

In addition, eligible professionals (EPs) now have until March 31 to attest to meaningful use for the Medicare EHR Incentive Program for the 2013 program year. The previous deadline was Feb. 28.
