CMS Calls for Feedback on Quality Reporting Guide

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has asked for feedback on the June 10 Draft CMS Implementation Guide for Quality Reporting Document Architecture for eligible professionals and hospitals to use as a framework for 2015 clinical quality measure (CQM) reporting. CQMs are reported as part of the Medicare and Medicaid Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Programs for hospitals to show meaningful use of EHR technology. The framework will be the new standard format for reporting and transmitting CQM data electronically.

CMS encourages key stakeholders to submit feedback on the usefulness of the integrated guide via JIRA through June 27. Please contact Xiaoyi Huang, JD, director of policy, at or 202.585.0127 with questions.
