The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has released Care Compare October preview reports for hospitals participating in the Inpatient Quality Reporting (IQR), Inpatient Psychiatric Facilities (IPF) Reporting, Prospective Payment System–Exempt Cancer Hospital Quality Reporting (PCHQR), and Hospital Outpatient Quality Reporting (OQR) programs.
The preview data is available through Aug. 30 on the QualityNet Secure Portal. CMS encourages hospitals to download and save a copy of their report. CMS also updated quick reference guides for preview data in the IQR, IPF, PCHQR, and OQR programs.
CMS will publicly post the data in October on Care Compare, where Medicare beneficiaries and the public can review quality measure data for participating hospitals and facilities.
Hospitals can submit questions related to the IQR and OQR programs through the Quality Net Question & Answer site or by calling 844.472.4477.
