The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a frequently asked questions (FAQ) document about the Bundled Payments for Care Improvement (BPCI) Advanced model.
Applications for the new voluntary bundled payment model are due March 12 at 11:59 pm ET. Submitting an application does not mandate participation in BPCI Advanced.
Educational webinars, fact sheets, and resources about the new bundled payment model are available on the CMS Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation website. Due to a high volume of inquiries about the model, the agency will prioritize time-sensitive questions that are relevant to the application process; CMS encourages applicants to include “application” in their email subject line.
