The annual 340B Drug Pricing Program recertification period for hospitals opened Aug. 14, and hospitals have until Sept. 11 to complete the process.
The Health Resources and Services Administration Office of Pharmacy Affairs (OPA) hosted a recertification webinar on Aug. 9, at 1 pm ET.
Hospitals must complete recertification through the OPA Information System (OPAIS). Authorizing officials and primary contacts must create their own OPAIS accounts before recertifying. Covered entities that fail to create OPAIS accounts and conduct recertification will be removed from the 340B program.
In addition, educational resources are available on the OPA website. Further questions can be directed to apexusanswers@340bpvp.com or 888.340.2787.
