340B Recertification Begins Aug. 15

The annual 340B Drug Pricing Program recertification period for hospitals begins Aug. 15. Hospitals will have until Sept. 12 to complete the process.

Hospitals must complete their recertification through the Office of Pharmacy Affairs Information System (OPAIS). Authorizing officials and primary contacts must create their own OPAIS accounts before recertifying. Covered entities that fail to create OPAIS accounts and conduct recertification will be removed from the 340B program.

OPA will host a webinar on the recertification process on Aug. 8 from 12 pm ET. The conference number for this webinar is 800.967.7154, and the participant code is 847321.

A user guide, webinars, and other educational resources are available on the OPA website. Questions regarding recertification should be directed to apexusanswers@340bpvp.com or 888.340.2787.
