The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) announced Aug. 19 that entities participating in the 340B Drug Pricing Program must complete recertification by Friday, Sept. 13, or they will be dismissed from the program. 340B covered entities are required to annually recertify their eligibility to participate in the program, which involves ensuring all contacts listed in the 340B database are accurate. Visit the 340B program database to verify that your health center’s address is correct and listed sites are still open and eligible to participate in 340B. Most importantly, verify that the 340B program contact information for the authorizing official (AO) and primary contact is up to date. The AO will be responsible for completing the recertification process online. If your covered entities AO record is incorrect, please update it by submitting a paper change request form to email@example.com. Email Apexus Answers or call 1-888-340-2787 with questions or concerns about recertification.
