Logo Use Policy
The logos of America’s Essential Hospitals (“the association”) and Essential Hospitals Institute (“Institute”) shall be used only with prior written permission (email or print) from the association. America’s Essential Hospitals, at its sole discretion, may withhold approval, and reserves the right to terminate or modify at any time permission to display the logos.
Logos may be used only for the purpose requested; additional uses require separate permissions.
The logos may not be used in any manner that
- expresses or might imply the association’s affiliation with any product or service;
- expresses or might imply the association’s sponsorship, endorsement, certification, or approval of any product or service;
- disparages the association, its services, or its programs; or
- violates any state, federal, or international law.
You may use the logos only as provided by the association. Except as provided in these guidelines, you may not alter the logos in any manner, including size, proportions, colors, elements; or animate, morph or otherwise distort the perspective or appearance of the logos.
The logos may be resized to accommodate a specific use, but the wordmarks (“AMERICA’S ESSENTIAL HOSPITALS” and “ESSENTIAL HOSPITALS INSTITUTE”) must remain legible. The association reserves the right to require that an instance of its logo be resized if, in its opinion, the name is difficult or impossible to read.
You may not alter the logos to incorporate any other object, including, but not limited to other logos, icons, words, graphics, photos, slogans, numbers, design features, symbols, audio files or video files.
The association logo, when used in a website or other digital application, must be linked to https://www.essentialhospitals.org/ or accompanied by a text link to the association’s website.
The Institute logo, when used in a website or other digital application, must be linked to http://essentialhospitalsinstitute.org/ or accompanied by a text link to the Institute’s page.
Requests for use of the logos may be made to firstname.lastname@example.org or 202.585.0102.
