The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) is soliciting applications for its 2018 Culture of Health Prize, which honors communities for innovative partnerships and collective initiatives to improve population health.
RWJF collaborates with the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute on the Culture of Health Prize. Past winners span a variety of programs — from communities increasing access to health care services to those addressing racial justice and immigration issues.
Essential hospitals have participated in prize-winning community efforts, including Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System and Truman Medical Centers in 2015.
The deadline for applications is Nov. 3, 3 pm ET. RWJF will hold an informational webinar Sept. 20, from 3 to 4 pm ET, for those who wish to learn more about the prize and application process.
