The Root Cause Coalition has announced two new learning cohorts that will provide educational opportunities to share best practices on targeting food and housing insecurity.
The cohorts will take place over eight months, beginning with an in-person meeting Oct. 20 at the Root Cause Coalition’s Fourth National Summit on the Social Determinants of Health. The remaining meetings will be held virtually via webinar, conference call, and discussion forum. Health equity leaders will teach practical knowledge on designing, implementing, evaluating, and sustaining interventions, especially as they relate to these social determinants of health.
The food insecurity and housing insecurity cohorts are open to all health care leaders and graduate students interested in learning how to better target social determinants of health. Register for the Food Insecurity Learning Cohort, the Housing Insecurity Cohort, or both by Nov. 1.
