America’s Essential Hospitals has a new shared learning benefit for leaders at our member hospitals working in patient experience and person-centered care. The Patient Experience Interest Group provides the opportunity for collaboration with like-minded professionals and access to valuable tools and resources for reference.
The objectives and approach to the interest group are driven by its members, broad goals include:
- facilitating peer-to-peer exchange of challenges and approaches to improving patient experience;
- sharing timely patient experience resources, promising practices, and policy updates;
- gathering advocacy guidance for improved, accurate measures of patient experience; and
- developing funded research proposals and products to promote person-centered care, patient engagement, and trust.
