Working with Essential Hospitals Institute and the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, George Mason University will offer virtual Mental Health First Aid trainings for health care workers, such as medical assistants, community health workers, and administrative staff, on Feb. 19 and Feb. 26.
The trainings will offer information about the signs and symptoms of common mental illness and a strategy for connecting with those demonstrating such indicators.
Applications are open now, and George Mason University will offer tuition waivers to cover the full cost of the program.
