The Joint Commission (TJC) invites physician leaders to its Annual Physician Leader Forum, April 16–17, at the organization’s central office, in Oakbrook Terrace, Ill.
This quality improvement and patient safety forum features expert speakers, transformation strategy workshops, and networking opportunities. Essential hospital leaders Mark Jones, president of Orlando Regional Medical Center, and Joseph Ibrahim, MD, trauma surgeon at Orlando Health, will present a plenary session on the health system’s response to the 2016 Pulse Nightclub shooting.
TJC is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education, the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education, and the American Nurses Credentialing Center to provide 6.5 Continuing Medical Education credits for the program.
No-cost registration includes a welcome reception on April 16 and breakfast and lunch on April 17. TJC also encourages CEOs, chief finance officers, chief nursing officers, and board members to attend.
