Findings from a recent population health study conducted by Essential Hospital Institute staff have been published in the March 2016 issue of the Journal for Healthcare Quality.
The article details a systematic review conducted by Institute staff, as well as partners at George Mason University and University HealthSystem Consortium (now Vizient Inc.), examining hospital-led population health programs. The study aimed to improve understanding of how hospital leaders implement population health initiatives. It specifically sampled essential hospitals and academic medical centers.
