America’s Essential Hospitals

WASHINGTON, DC – America’s Essential Hospitals, whose members fill a safety-net role for millions of people in communities nationwide, appreciates Mr. Trump’s commitment to serve as a president for all Americans, and we congratulate him on his election win.

We look forward to working with Mr. Trump and his administration to shape our nation’s health care priorities and policies in a way that protects access to high-quality care for vulnerable patients and vital services for communities.

By ensuring the best possible care for the least fortunate, our hospitals provide the best care to all people. We must sustain federal support for this mission, reject policy changes that reduce spending at the expense of coverage and access, and continue progress toward transformative approaches to better quality and value.
